Corporate Information

 

WIH International Hospital has been established under Thanadol and Kojchaboon Company Limited (TKC) since 2009. It is a private, specialized hospital strategically located on Bangna-Trat kilometer 4.5 Road, Bangna, Bangkok, Thailand.

 

At completion, WIH will be in the prime location of Bangna-Trad Highway (Km 4.5), Bangkok, on a lot acquired by TKC. It is an 11-storey building with 2 basements and a gross floor area of approximately 25,000 square maters. In the initial operational phase, WIH will be outfitted with 60 patient beds, 7 Intensive care units, and 9 operating theaters. At full capacity, WIH will be able to expand the wards to have 100 patient beds in total.

 

At present, WIH has already obtained EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment in Thailand) permission, construction permissions by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and Ministry of Public Health Thailand (MOPH). The construction began in February 2019 and expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2020. WIH is envisioned to fully open in the 1st quarter of 2021 under the management of an executive team with the leadership of Dr. Chettawut Tulayaphanich, a world-famous Plastic, and Reconstructive surgeon.

Thanadol and Kojchaboon Company Limited (“TKC”) was founded by Dr. Chettawut Tulayaphanich MD and his family
on 30th October 2009 to construct and operate a private, specialized hospital focusing primarily on plastic and reconstructive surgery and related services.

 

Dr. Chettawut is a world-leading surgeon specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery who currently owns and operates Chettawut Plastic Surgery Center (“CPSC”) situated at 1529/4 Onnut 31 Sukumvit 77, Bangkok, Thailand.

 

CPSC is an internationally recognized surgery center providing numerous types of plastic surgical procedure with a major focus on transgender medicine.

The high demand but limited surgical availability and bed capacity of CPSC has inspired Dr. Chettawut to set up a specialized hospital. The hospital was named WIH International Hospital which is now in the construction phase aimed to be completed by mid-2020. The WIH project will support CPSC’s patients and address the growing demand for Plastic & Cosmetic surgery and other main areas such as Orthopedics, Dental, Dermatology, Health/ Wellness & Anti-aging.
