🌈 Pride Month 2025: A Tribute from Dr. Chettasak
As Pride Month begins, I want to take a moment to share my story — not just as a surgeon, but as someone who has dedicated nearly 30 years of my life to transgender healthcare.
As Pride Month begins, I want to take a moment to share my story — not just as a surgeon, but as someone who has dedicated nearly 30 years of my life to transgender healthcare.
Since the very beginning of my surgical career, I’ve focused deeply on helping transgender individuals achieve the bodies that align with their true identities. From gender-affirming surgery (GAS) to facial feminization surgery (FFS) and top surgery, I’ve walked alongside thousands of patients — listening to their stories, understanding their needs, and putting everything I have into every detail of the surgical journey.
Today, I’m proud to say that this journey has brought me to a new milestone: the successful founding of WIH International Hospital — a place built with a vision to support, empower, and serve the LGBTQ+ community with dignity, safety, and excellence. At WIH, our mission goes beyond surgery — we create a space where identity is affirmed, respect is unconditional, and every team member shares a commitment to trans-inclusive care.
This Pride Month, I’m filled with gratitude. I want to thank all my patients, followers, and supporters — not only those who’ve come through my operating room, but also those who have shared kind words, recommended me in trans forums, or spoken about their experience at events around the world. Your trust is the foundation of everything I do.
And I promise, I will continue to give my very best — not only as a surgeon, but as a mentor, a builder, and a leader of a team that lives this same mission every day. Together, we aim to strengthen the voices, bodies, and confidence of our transgender community.
