WIH Airport Transportation Service

We provide transportation to and from Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) or Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) for our international patients coming for their surgery and staying at WIH Post Surgery Accommodation.

Please provide your complete flight information from your airline or travel agency in the form of a pdf or jpeg file so that we can make an accurate transportation plan in advance.

Your close-up face photo is also required so our assigned driver can readily recognize you at the airport meeting point.

When you arrive in Thailand, our driver will be holding a name board and will wait for you at the meeting location to take you to WIH Hospital.

If you have relatives or friends joining you who will arrive or depart on a different airline, we can provide transportation to and from the hotel or WIH for an additional fee.

On your departure day, the return transportation is typically scheduled four hours before departure time.

Directions for finding our driver at Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK)

To ensure your journey from the aircraft to our driver’s meeting point is as smooth and easy as possible, please follow these simple steps.

Step 1: Arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport

After your flight lands, follow the main overhead signs pointing towards “Immigration • Baggage Claim”.

⚠️ If you arrive at the SAT-1 Satellite Terminal: You must first take the free APM Train to the Main Terminal building. Follow the signs, take the escalators down to the platform, and board the train (approx. 3-minute ride). You will reach the Immigration area after going up the escalators in the Main Terminal.

Step 2: Health Control

Before reaching Immigration, you will pass through the Health Control checkpoint. For most passengers, this is a simple walk-through process with health screening measures like thermal scanners.

 

Step 3: Immigration & Passport Control

Proceed to the immigration counters with your passport and other necessary travel documents (e.g., boarding pass, visa if required).

 

Step 4: Baggage Collection and Money Exchange

You may then collect your baggage, exchange currency, and purchase a SIM card—all conveniently located within the same area.

Step 5: Customs Clearance

You will need to go through customs to declare any goods. Please try to avoid bringing items that exceed duty-free allowances or are restricted, to prevent paying taxes or facing fines at customs.

Step 6: Go to the Arrival Hall (2nd Floor)

  • After Customs, you will enter the Arrival Hall.
  • Please look for the overhead signs pointing towards the meeting point.
  • Meeting Point is located near Exit 3.

Step 7: Meeting Your Driver

Our hospital driver will be waiting at the Meeting Point (Exit 3), holding a sign with your name and WIH International Hospital.
