Hi everyone, Dr. Chettasak here from WIH Hospital! Today, let’s talk about an essential tool after gender-affirming surgery: the dilator set. This tool helps maintain the flexibility and size of your neovagina, preparing your body for intimacy.
Our set includes 5 sizes, increasing gradually by just 3 mm each step for maximum comfort:
• Size 0: 20 mm • Size 1: 23 mm
• Size 2: 26 mm • Size 3: 29 mm
• Size 4: 32 mm Each dilator is 8.5 inches long, designed to preserve the depth of your neovagina. Once you’re comfortable with Size 4, you’re ready for sexual activity!
Want to go further? Size 5 (35 mm) is available, but most people don’t need anything larger.
